Oil against oil..?

I just finished mixing up the oils I picked up the other day from the organic market, and came up with two mixtures.

For the face:
~ 1 part extra virgin olive oil : 1 part sweet almond oil : 1 part grapeseed oil : 1 part castor oil
+ 5 drops of essential tea tree oil
+ 2 drops of essential grapefruit oil

For the hair:
~ 1 part EVOO : 1 part CO
+ 5 drops of essential grapefruit oil
+ 2 drops of tea tree oil

I'm excited to try both of these, and I'll be reporting back in the next few weeks with some results.

Be careful with the grapefruit on the face because it can make you photosensitive-- so make sure you use spf.
Grapefruit is supposed to encourage hair growth so it's great for the hair :-D Let us know how it works for you.

Thanks so much for letting me know. I was actually reading up on it earlier today, since I didn't want to mix anything with any unusual side effects, which is why I kept the ratio very low.

Also just started with a new sunscreen.. spf 60, so I'm hoping that takes care of things. :)
